Spurs Continue Preseason Preparations With Victory

Tottenham Hotspur Women continued their preparations for the upcoming season with a 3-1 victory over London City Lionesses on Wednesday evening. Goals from Jessica Naz, Angela Addison, and Chioma Ubogagu secured the win for Spurs at The Hive Stadium.

Spurs Dominate First Half

Spurs started the game brightly and took the lead in the 10th minute. Naz latched onto a through ball from Addison and fired home from inside the box. The visitors continued to dominate possession and doubled their lead in the 25th minute when Addison headed in a cross from Ria Percival.

Lionesses Pull One Back

London City Lionesses pulled a goal back in the 35th minute through a penalty from Ebony Salmon. The hosts started the second half well and came close to equalizing on several occasions, but Spurs held on to their lead.

Ubogagu Seals Victory

Spurs sealed the victory in the 80th minute when Ubogagu scored from close range after good work from Naz. The win was a good workout for Spurs, who are now unbeaten in their preseason campaign.
